The SATPLUS 5 measuring device covers all common reception methods – satellite, cable, and terrestrial.
As a true combo measuring device, it supports DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, and DVB-C/C2, thus offering maximum flexibility for professional installations and service calls.
Precise measurements on a large color display
The integrated 5-inch color display delivers highly precise measurements and allows for convenient switching between measurement mode and live TV display. A zoom function with a large, digital display ensures that signal parameters remain easily readable even from a distance. A loud audible signal aids in quick antenna alignment.
Extensive analysis and diagnostic functions
For professional analysis, functions such as spectrum analysis, constellation diagram, scope and tilt measurement, and the display of all relevant signal parameters are available. In the satellite realm, the SATPLUS 5 supports, among other things, DiSEqC, Unicable (EN50594 & EN50607), wideband LNBs, and the calculation of azimuth and elevation angles.
Measured values such as MER, BER, PWR, FEC, signal strength, and signal quality are clearly displayed.
Practical additional functions for everyday work
The device also impresses with comprehensive analysis functions for terrestrial and cable reception. DVB-T/T2 antennas can be powered via a switchable 5–24 volt antenna power supply. Additional features such as screenshot saving to USB, firmware updates via USB, channel list backup, a hardware reset button, and an integrated LED work light simplify daily use. Multiple status LEDs provide information about operating and signal states at all times.
